About Lawrence Park
“The Park” is an area characterized by homes in a variety of styles, including English Cottage, Tudor Revival, Georgian, and Colonial. Many houses have been renovated or rebuilt, or are relatively new, having replaced the original properties on the lots, over the course of the past 100 years.
Among the most charming elements of this neighbourhood are the quiet, gently sloping and winding streets that lie between the neighbourhood’s eastern boundary of Bayview Avenue and its western end, at Yonge Street. The shops and businesses along Yonge Street, north, and south of Lawrence Avenue, provide everything that the residents of Lawrence Park and other nearby neighbourhoods might need. The Lawrence subway stop on the Yonge Street line makes getting downtown or uptown a snap.
